Highfield Roll Up 250

Please Note: The Highfield Roll-Up range is no longer available. For an alternative, we recommend the Highfield Ultralite range.
The Roll Up 250 is one of the lightest tenders Highfield makes, and it's built for owners who want something they can genuinely roll up, stow in a locker, and forget about until they need it.
You've got a choice of deck: an airmat floor for the lightest possible package, or a slatted aluminium deck if you'd rather have a firmer, more rigid feel underfoot. Either way, at just 30kg boat-only weight, this is a tender you can carry, launch and stow without a second thought.
With a 6hp max rating, the Roll Up 250 is also a strong pairing for an electric outboard - ideal if you're after quiet, low-maintenance ship-to-shore trips without the fuss of a petrol engine.
Highfield Roll Up 250 Key Features
- The lightest tender in Highfield's range at just 30kg boat-only weight
- Inflatable V-hull for a solid, capable feel despite the soft bottom design
- Choice of airmat or slatted aluminium deck
- Carries up to 3 people with a 240kg maximum load
- 3 air chambers for reassurance and redundancy
- Rated to 6hp - a strong match for an electric outboard
PVC or Hypalon tube?
The Roll Up 250 comes as standard with a PVC tube fabric with welded seams, offering excellent value and solid performance for boats used seasonally and stored under cover. A Hypalon tube is available as an optional upgrade, offering superior UV resistance and longevity if the boat will live outdoors or see heavier use.
Read our full PVC vs Hypalon tubes guide for a proper breakdown of the differences, or get in touch and we'll help you pick the right fit for how you'll use the boat.

FAQs
How many people can the Roll Up 250 carry?
The Roll Up 250 is rated for up to 3 people, with a maximum load of 240kg for crew and cargo combined. That figure doesn't include the engine, fuel or water, so worth keeping in mind when you're loading up.
Can I use an electric outboard on the Roll Up 250?
Yes - it's rated to a maximum of 6hp, which makes it a strong pairing for an electric outboard if you're after quiet, low-maintenance trips ashore.
What's the difference between the airmat and slatted deck options?
The airmat floor keeps overall weight to a minimum and packs down smallest, while the slatted aluminium deck gives you a firmer, more rigid feel underfoot. Which suits you best comes down to whether you prioritise packability or a more solid stance on board.
How much does the Roll Up 250 weigh?
The boat alone weighs just 30kg, making it the lightest tender in Highfield's entire range and easy for one person to carry, roll up and stow.
Is the Roll Up 250 durable despite being a soft bottom tender?
Yes - the inflatable V-hull is designed to give a solid, capable feel on the water, and the PVC or optional Hypalon tube fabric is built to stand up to regular use, not just the odd calm-day outing.
