Highfield Classic 290 PVC are a durable and lightweight rigid inflatable boat (RIB) tender featuring a powder-coated aluminium hull and Valmex® PVC tubes. It is designed for use as a reliable yacht tender or for general recreational boating, offering stability, comfort, and impressive performance with smaller engines due to its lightweight design.

- Durable Construction: The hull is made of 2.5mm thick, high-tensile, powder-coated marine-grade aluminium, coupled with full-length keel guards for durability, making it ideal for beach-hopping.
- Dry Ride: It features a double-deck hull design with a flat floor and raised deck, which helps keep feet and gear dry.
- Stability and Performance: The deep V-hull and 44cm (17 inch) diameter tubes contribute to superior stability, excellent handling, and a drier, more stable ride.

- How long will the PVC tubes last? A high-quality, well-cared-for PVC inflatable boat can be expected to last anywhere between 5-10 years. Highfield PVC boats feature welded seams, which generally outlast those made with glues/adhesives.
- How often should I clean the boat? To prevent the "sticky effect" (plasticizers rising to the surface due to sun exposure), the boat should be washed with soap and water 2-3 times a year, especially if it is left in the sun for extended periods.
- What if the boat becomes sticky? The sticky effect is due to plasticizers. The only way to eliminate it is to wash the boat with soap and a sponge thoroughly.
- Should I protect the boat from the sun? Yes, while the material is resistant to UV and chemicals, it's a good idea to use a protective coating or boat cover if the boat is to be left outside all year round to ensure longevity.
- Can I use any repair kit? Use the repair kit provided with the boat or an appropriate PVC repair kit and adhesive, such as Clifton Urethane Adhesive, as PVC and Hypalon adhesives and fabrics are not compatible.
- Where should I store the boat? When not in use, store the boat in a dry, cool place to avoid mould and mildew.
