Yamaha F25 25HP Outboard Engine Key Features

  • Lightweight Design: The F25 is approximately 25% lighter than its predecessor, making it the lightest 25-horsepower outboard on the water in its class, enhancing portability for smaller craft like aluminium fishing boats, tenders, and inflatables.

  • Battery-less EFI: The Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system operates without a battery, simplifying the setup and ensuring reliable starting in all conditions, even for manual (pull-start) models.
  • Fuel Efficiency: The F25 offers excellent fuel economy, with testing showing high-end efficiency even at wide-open throttle.
  • Variable Trolling Speed (VTS®): This feature allows the operator to adjust trolling speed in precise 50 RPM increments (from 750 to 1050 RPM) via the multi-function tiller handle or an optional Command Link display.
  • Portability and Storage: The engine includes built-in carry handles and resting pads, along with an oil-retention system, which allows for convenient on-side storage without oil leakage concerns.
  • High-Output Alternator: A powerful 16-amp alternator is standard, providing ample power for battery charging and running various on-board electronic accessories.
  • Durability and Corrosion Protection: Yamaha's anti-corrosion system, featuring a unique YDC-30 aluminium alloy and multi-stage paint process, offers exceptional protection against harsh marine environments.
  • Shallow Water Drive: A two-position shallow water drive system provides protection for the propeller and allows access to shallow areas.
