Suzuki 70 HP Outboard Engine

Built to take on tough tasks and long days on the water, the Suzuki DF70A is a no-nonsense four-stroke that offers outstanding performance, quiet operation and rugged dependability. All DF70A models come with forward-neutral-reverse gears, water cooling, aluminium propeller, power trim and tilt, and a selection of remote control box options to suit your boat.
Hard-Working and Versatile
Whether you’re chasing fish, cruising inland waterways or powering a commercial vessel, the DF70A delivers strong torque and excellent fuel economy. Its compact form belies the grunt it offers - proving it's as comfortable under load as it is idling at the dock.
Available Models
- DF70 ATL – Long shaft (508mm), electric start, remote steer (side mount control box included), and power tilt. Pearl Nebular Black. Weight: 156kg.
- DF70 ATX – Extra Long shaft (635mm), electric start, remote steer (side mount control box included), and power tilt. Pearl Nebular Black. Weight: 160kg.
Offset Drive Shaft
This clever engineering feature positions the powerhead further forward, improving balance and reducing vibration. The result? A more compact design with excellent handling characteristics and smoother performance.
Hassle-Free Maintenance
The DF70A’s self-adjusting timing chain is oil-bathed for durability and longevity, with no manual adjustment or external lubrication needed. One less thing to worry about when you're on the water.
Lean Burn Control for Lower Fuel Use
With Suzuki’s Lean Burn System, fuel economy improves dramatically - ideal for long trips or commercial use. The ECU continually monitors conditions and delivers the optimal air/fuel mix to maximise efficiency without sacrificing performance.
