Can I tow on salted roads in winter? Towing on salted roads can be highly corrosive to the galvanised chassis. If it's unavoidable, you must thoroughly wash down the chassis immediately after use to prevent damage.
How often should I service the wheel bearings? The trailer is fitted with AL-KO axles with oversized sealed unitised bearings, which are designed for extended life and reduced maintenance. However, general advice is to service bearings at least once a year, especially with frequent immersion in water.
How do I set up the rollers correctly? All rollers should be touching the hull of your boat and positioned to avoid any strakes (moulded lines) on the hull. The weight of the boat should primarily rest on the keel rollers.
How should the boat sit on the trailer? The end of the rear rollers should be flush with the boat's transom, and the bow eye should align correctly with the winch post. This ensures proper support and correct towing characteristics. The winch post and rollers are fully adjustable to achieve this fit
