Raymarine M364 Stabilised Pan & Tilt Thermal IP Camera (640 x 512, 24° FoV)

Raymarine M364 Stabilised Pan & Tilt Thermal IP Camera (640 x 512, 24° FoV) are a high-performance, rugged thermal imaging camera designed for enhanced situational awareness in marine environments, even in complete darkness or rough seas. It features advanced gyro-stabilization and integration with navigation systems for safer navigation.

Raymarine M364 Stabilised Pan & Tilt Thermal IP Camera (640 x 512, 24° FoV) Key Features

  • Elite Thermal Imaging: The camera is powered by the Teledyne FLIR Boson thermal imaging core with a high-resolution 640x512 VOx Microbolometer detector, providing sharp thermal vision for detecting obstacles and targets in low visibility.
  • Active Gyro-Stabilization: It features two-axis mechanical stabilization to virtually eliminate the effects of a vessel's pitch, heave, and yaw, ensuring a steady, stable view in rough seas.
  • Pan & Tilt Functionality: Offers full 360° continuous pan and +/-90° tilt adjustment for a complete view around the vessel.
  • Seamless Integration: Designed for integration with other marine navigation and security systems, it provides analog video, HD-SDI, and IP video outputs. It is also compatible with the Raymarine Axiom Multi-Function Display (MFD) for touchscreen control and access to ClearCruise™ Augmented Reality.
  • Rugged Design: The housing is built to withstand harsh marine elements, with an IPX6 water ingress rating (protection against heavy seas and powerful jets of water) and resistance to salt mist and strong winds.
  • Range Performance: According to FLIR Marine, the camera can detect a 30-foot vessel from approximately 1.7 nautical miles (3150 meters) and a human-sized target from about 0.5 nautical miles (925 meters).

Raymarine M364 Stabilised Pan & Tilt Thermal IP Camera (640 x 512, 24° FoV)FAQs

  • What is the camera's resolution? The Raymarine FLIR M364 features a high-resolution 640x512 VOx microbolometer thermal sensor.
  • What is the field of view (FoV) and zoom capability? It has a 24° x 18° field of view and includes a 4x continuous electronic zoom.
  • Does it have image stabilization? Yes, it features two-axis mechanical gyrostabilization to provide a steady image in rough seas by virtually eliminating the effects of pitch, heave, and yaw.
  • Can it be controlled from a chartplotter? Yes, the camera can be fully controlled from a compatible Raymarine Axiom series or other Multi-Function Displays (MFDs), using a touchscreen or an optional joystick control unit.
  • Does it work with non-Raymarine MFDs? Yes, the M364  supports standard ONVIF Profile S conformance and provides analogue video (NTSC/PAL) and H.264 IP video streams for integration with other brands of MFDs like Garmin, Simrad, and Furuno.
  • What software is required for use with a Raymarine MFD? To use the camera with a compatible Raymarine MFD, the MFD must be running Version 3.10 or later of the LightHouse 3 software.
  • What is included in the box? The box typically contains the thermal camera itself, a base-seal gasket, a mounting riser, various mounting fixings, and several connection cables (RayNet-to-RJ45 adapter, right-angled RayNet, HD-SDI, and power/NMEA 0183/video cables).
  • How should I clean the camera lens? Switch off the power and use a clean, soft cotton cloth, possibly moistened with a mild detergent, for the camera body. For the lens window, which has a delicate anti-reflective coating, do not use a dry cloth, abrasive materials, or acid/ammonia based products to avoid damage.
