Raymarine i70s System - Wind & DST Twin XDCR Pack with Short Arm Wind Transducer
Raymarine i70s System - Wind & DST Twin XDCR Pack with Short Arm Wind Transducer are designed for maximum visibility and ease of use. Featuring a bold, 4.1-inch sunlight-viewable screen, it uses all-weather optically bonded technology to deliver sharper colours and a wider viewing angle while eliminating the risk of internal fogging. Whether you prefer digital, analogue, or graphical data, the i70s is fully customisable to show the information that matters most to you.
This specific system pack is a powerhouse of integration. It includes a Short Arm Wind Transducer for precise wind speed and direction, alongside the ST900/P120 and D800 through-hull transducers to give you dedicated, high-accuracy readings for speed, temperature, and depth. The included iTC-5 Instrument Transducer Converter acts as the "brains," seamlessly translating your analogue transducer signals into the modern SeaTalkng/NMEA2000 network.
Built to survive the harshest conditions, the unit features a sculpted rubber keypad for precise operation even with wet hands or gloves. Whether you are a cruising sailor or a motorboater, this pack offers a professional "glass bridge" look that integrates perfectly with Raymarine’s latest MFDs

Raymarine i70s System - Wind & DST Twin XDCR Pack with Short Arm Wind Transducer FAQs
I see it has a "Twin Transducer" setup—how does that differ from a Triducer?
Traditional "Triducers" combine depth, speed, and temp into one unit. This pack uses a Twin XDCR setup (ST900/P120 for speed/temp and D800 for depth). The advantage here is performance and maintenance; by separating the depth from the speed paddlewheel, you often get more accurate readings and it's easier to pull the speed sensor for cleaning without losing your depth reading.
How easy is it to read the screen in direct sunlight?
The i70s is class-leading in this area. It features an optically bonded display, which essentially eliminates fogging and significantly improves contrast. With a brightness of 1,200 candelas, it remains perfectly crisp even in the midday sun here on the coast.
Can I customise what I see on the screen?
Absolutely. One of the best features of the i70s is its versatility. You can choose from digital, analogue, or graphical displays. Whether you want a large-format depth reading for pilotage or a sophisticated wind dial for sailing, you can tailor the data pages to show exactly what matters to you.
Does this system support AIS ?
Yes, it does. While it isn't a chartplotter, it has a very clever AIS Repeater mode. If you have an AIS receiver on your NMEA 2000 or SeaTalkng network, the i70s can display nearby targets, allowing you to track vessels directly from the instrument.
Is it compatible with my existing Raymarine gear?
The i70s uses the SeaTalkng (Next Generation) networking protocol. It is fully compatible with NMEA 2000 networks (using a simple adapter) and can be integrated with older first-generation SeaTalk systems using a SeaTalk to SeaTalkng converter kit.
What are the power requirements?
It’s very efficient for a colour screen, drawing only about 1.7 Watts. It runs on a standard 12V DC system (operating range of 9 to 16V), making it ideal for both sailing yachts and motor cruisers where power management is key.
How does the Wind Transducer connect?
The included Short Arm Wind Transducer is an analogue unit. It plugs directly into the iTC-5 converter included in this pack. The iTC-5 then "digitises" that information and sends it to the i70s display via the SeaTalkng backbone.
What is the "Short Arm" vs "Long Arm" wind vane?
The "Short Arm" (included here) is the standard choice for most coastal cruisers and yachts. It provides plenty of clearance from the masthead to get clean air readings without the extra leverage and weight of a long-arm vane, which is typically reserved for larger racing yachts or those with very cluttered mastheads.
