Raymarine Cyclone Pro 110 Watts 6ft Open Array Radar with 15m Cables

Raymarine Cyclone Pro 110 Watts 6ft Open Array Radar with 15m Cables are a high-performance, solid-state marine radar system designed for superior target separation and situational awareness in all conditions. It is a 110W model, equivalent to a 12kW magnetron radar in power, and is engineered for rugged performance with innovative features like Doppler target tracking and specialized Bird Mode.

Raymarine Cyclone Pro 110 Watts 6ft Open Array Radar with 15m Cables Key Features

  • Powerful Performance: The 110-watt solid-state transmitter provides an impressive max range of 96 nautical miles (NM), offering extended range resolution and superior target separation using CHIRP pulse compression and beam sharpening technology.
  • Enhanced Situational Awareness: The radar features a rapid 60 RPM rotational speed, ensuring real-time 360-degree awareness and accurate target tracking, which is particularly useful in high-traffic areas.
  • Advanced Detection Modes:
    • Doppler Target Tracking: Automatically identifies and color-codes moving targets for simplified interpretation of dangerous (red) and safe (green) vessels.
    • RangeFusion Technology: Combines short-pulse and long-pulse returns into a single, high-clarity radar image, providing simultaneous exceptional short-range and long-range views.
    • Cyclone Bird Mode: Optimizes gain and tuning settings to intelligently locate sea birds, a key indicator for finding fish.
  • Rugged Design: The aircraft-wing-inspired design is engineered to withstand extreme conditions, boasting a best-in-class 100-knot wind rating and meeting the commercial-grade IEC 62388 standard.
  • Seamless Integration: The system is compatible with Raymarine Axiom, Axiom+, Axiom Pro, and Axiom XL multifunction displays.
  • Clean Installation: The innovative pedestal design features a built-in cable gland to conceal connections for a clean and sleek installation.
  • Included Accessories: The package (Model T70496) comes complete with the pedestal, the 6-foot antenna array, a 15-meter data/power cable kit, and a VCM100 voltage converter.

Raymarine Cyclone Pro 110 Watts 6ft Open Array Radar with 15m Cables FAQs

  • Which MFDs (Multifunction Displays) are compatible with this radar?  All Raymarine , Axiom+ , Axiom Pro, and Axiom XL multifunction displays are compatible with the Cyclone Pro radar . A software update (LightHouse Hvar 3.16 or later) may be required.
  • Can I use my existing radar cables? In most cases, a new installation requires the change-out of the radar scanner interconnect cable, so it is recommended to use the included 15m RayNet cable and power cable.
  • What are the power requirements? The system requires a nominal 12V or 24V DC power source, with a minimum of 10.2V dc and a maximum of 31.2V dc. A VCM100 voltage converter is included.
  • What is the optimal mounting height? The scanner should be mounted as high as practical above the waterline for better long-range performance. It must also be installed above head height to avoid mechanical danger and minimize exposure to electromagnetic radiation. The lower profile design (13.1 inches tall) allows for more flexible installation options.
