Raymarine CP570 Clear Pulse 570 CHIRP

Raymarine CP570 Clear Pulse 570 CHIRP are engineered specifically for professional and tournament anglers, the Raymarine CP570 is the pinnacle of sonar technology. Designed for the most demanding offshore environments and rough conditions, this module brings best-in-class target separation and ultra-high-resolution CHIRP imagery directly to your Raymarine Multifunction Display.

What sets the CP570 apart is its sheer power and intelligence. Using a wide spectrum of frequencies and enhanced sensitivity, it allows you to see through dense schools of baitfish to identify the game fish hiding beneath. Whether you are tracking the sea floor at extreme depths or hunting in the upper water column, the CP570 intelligently filters out unwanted noise, delivering a crystal-clear picture that you can truly rely on.

With its dual-channel capability and 4kW of combined output power, this is more than just a fish finder; it’s a professional-grade tool for those who take their fishing seriously

Raymarine CP570 Clear Pulse 570 CHIRP Key Features

  • Dual Independent Sonar Channels: Hunt for fish in two different parts of the water column simultaneously. With two fully independent 2kW sonar channels, you can monitor the surface for bait while tracking the bottom for game fish at the same time.
  • Serious Offshore Depth: Reach further than ever before. Target fish, identify bait, and track the sea floor down to staggering depths of 10,000ft (3,000m).
  • Stunning Clarity with TruZoom™: Don't lose detail when you zoom in. Raymarine’s TruZoom™ magnification mode reveals extra target detail and bottom structure without any loss of resolution, unlike traditional digital sonars.
  • Ultra-Fast Ping Rate: In extreme offshore conditions or at higher speeds, you need fast data. The CP570’s ultra-fast ping rate processing ensures accurate, reliable bottom tracking when you need it most.
  • Wide Spectrum CHIRP Technology: Experience 10 times the resolution of ordinary sonars. This technology provides sharper, more defined fish targets and identifies thermoclines with ease.
  • Automatic Transducer Recognition: Setup is simple. The CP570 automatically recognises connected Airmar transducers and adjusts sonar parameters for optimised performance.
  • Rugged & Reliable: Built for the marine environment with an IPX6 waterproof rating and a ruggedised aluminium enclosure, designed to dissipate heat and withstand the elements.
  • Fully Customisable Display: View and control each CHIRP channel independently on your Ray marine Lighthouse-powered display, creating your own bespoke split-screen configurations.

Raymarine CP570 Clear Pulse 570 CHIRP FAQs

What makes the CP570 "Professional" compared to other sonar modules?

The CP570 is engineered for the tournament angler and professional fisherman. Unlike standard modules, it features two fully independent sonar channels. This means you can hunt for fish in two different parts of the water column simultaneously—for example, tracking baitfish near the surface on one channel while monitoring the seabed for game fish on the other—with no loss of resolution.

How deep can the CP570 actually see?

It is a powerhouse. When paired with the right transducer, the CP570 can track the sea floor and target fish down to an incredible 3,000 metres (10,000 feet). Its ultra-fast ping rate and advanced signal processing ensure that even in the rough offshore conditions we often see in the UK, you get a clear, stable image.

Will it work with my current Raymarine display?

The CP570 is designed to integrate seamlessly via RayNet (Ethernet). It is compatible with:

    • Axiom series (Axiom, Axiom Pro, Axiom XL)
    • Legacy aSeries, cSeries, eSeries, and gS Series MFDs.

Note: For older Lighthouse 2 or Lighthouse 3 legacy displays, you may need to ensure your software version matches (typically v20.00 for older units or the latest v21+ for Axiom) to ensure full communication.

Does it come with a transducer?

No, the CP570 is a dedicated sonar module, and the transducer is sold separately. This is because "pro" setups require a transducer tailored to your specific boat and fishing style. Whether you need a 1kW thru-hull, a transom mount, or an in-hull "tank" transducer, we can help you select the perfect Airmar or Raymarine CHIRP pairing.

What is "TruZoom™" and why do I need it?

TruZoom™ is a standout feature of the CP570. It allows you to magnify a specific area of the water column (like a school of fish or a piece of structure) without any loss of resolution. Conventional digital zooms often get "pixelated," but the CP570 retains its incredible clarity, letting you see the gap between individual fish in a tight school.

Is the CP570 easy to install?

It’s built for the marine environment with a rugged IPX6 waterproof aluminium enclosure. It requires a 12/24V DC power supply and connects to your network via a RayNet cable. Because it’s a high-performance 4kW-capable unit, we always recommend ensuring your battery system and cabling are up to the task—something our engineers here at Morgan Marine can certainly assist with.
