Raymarine Augmented Reality Pack including CAM300 Eyeball camera, AR200
Raymarine Augmented Reality Pack including CAM300 Eyeball camera, AR200 all-in-one pack combines the ultra-compact CAM300 Eyeball Camera with the AR200 Stabilisation Module, allowing you to see the world around you with digital intelligence.
Using Raymarine’s ClearCruise™ AR technology, your Axiom display will overlay critical navigation data—such as AIS targets, waypoints, and chart objects—directly onto a live, high-definition video feed. It essentially allows you to "see through" the complexity of a busy channel or hazy horizon, making it easier than ever to identify buoys, avoid traffic, and reach your marks safely.
Smarter Decision Making: No more glancing back and forth between your chart and the horizon. See exactly where your next waypoint lies in the "real world" via the live video feed.
Instant Traffic Identification: AIS-equipped vessels are automatically labelled with colour-coded graphics, showing you their name, status, and risk level at a glance.
Crystal Clear Vision: The CAM300 provides a 3-megapixel HD sensor with built-in infrared for excellent visibility in low-light conditions and at night.
Rock-Solid Stability: The included AR200 sensor features a 9-axis AHRS (Attitude and Heading Reference System) to ensure your augmented reality overlays stay perfectly aligned, even as your boat pitches and rolls in a seaway

Raymarine Augmented Reality Pack including CAM300 Eyeball camera, AR200 FAQs
What exactly does this pack do for my navigation?
In short, it lets you "see" digital information overlaid on the real world. By combining the CAM300 eyeball camera with the AR200 stabilisation sensor, your Raymarine Axiom display will show live video of the water ahead, but with "flags" and labels floating over AIS-equipped ships, waypoints, and chart objects (like buoys and beacons). It takes the guesswork out of matching your chart to the horizon.
What is included in this specific pack?
We’ve ensured this bundle has the core components you need to get up and running. In the box, you’ll find:
-
- CAM300 Day/Night Network Eyeball Camera: A compact, high-definition (1080p) camera.
- AR200 Augmented Reality Sensor: This is the "brain" that provides GPS and 9-axis heading/pitch/roll data to keep the graphics stable on your screen.
- STNG T-Piece & 1m Backbone Cable: To integrate the AR200 into your SeaTalkng network.
- 10m RayNet Cable: To connect the camera to your Axiom or network switch.
Do I need an Axiom display for this to work?
Yes. ClearCruise™ AR is designed specifically for the Raymarine Axiom® family of multifunction displays. It requires LightHouse 3.7 software or newer. If you’re running an older version, don't worry—it’s a simple free update, but the hardware is exclusive to the Axiom, Axiom+, Axiom Pro, and Axiom XL ranges.
Is the CAM300 camera suitable for night-time use?
Absolutely. The CAM300 is a "True Day/Night" camera. It features built-in infrared emitters that provide excellent visibility in low-light conditions up to about 10 metres (33ft). While it’s not a long-range thermal camera, it’s perfect for spotting mooring buoys or dock edges when coming back into the marina after dark.
Why do I need the AR200 sensor? Can't I just use the camera?
You can use the camera for a standard video feed, but for Augmented Reality, the AR200 is essential. Without it, the "flags" for waypoints and buoys wouldn't stay fixed to the objects as your boat bounces on the waves or turns. The AR200 stabilises the video and tells the Axiom exactly where the camera is pointing in relation to the world.
How does it help with AIS and collision avoidance?
This is one of the best features for UK boaters. If you have an AIS receiver connected to your network, the system will identify AIS-equipped vessels on the camera feed. You’ll see a color-coded label over the actual ship on your screen, showing its name and even its risk status (CPA). It’s much more intuitive than looking at a triangle on a 2D map.
Can the camera be mounted upside down?
Yes, it can. The CAM300 has "image flip" and "invert" functions. This means you can mount it "ball-up" or "ball-down" on a cabin roof or radar arch, and we can simply adjust the settings in the menu so the horizon stays the right way up.
How difficult is the installation?
The system is designed to be "plug and play" on a Raymarine network. The camera can be powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) if you have a Raymarine network switch (like the HS5), or via a direct 12V connection. The AR200 simply drops into your SeaTalkng (NMEA 2000) backbone using the included T-piece.
Is it waterproof?
Yes, the CAM300 is rated IP66, meaning it’s perfectly happy mounted outside on your flybridge or mast. The AR200 is even more rugged, with an IPX6/IPX7 rating, though we usually mount these on a cabin roof or under a hardtop for the best GPS/Heading signal.
Can I see my own waypoints through the camera?
Yes! If you have a waypoint saved for a tricky harbour entrance or a favourite fishing spot, ClearCruise AR will display a flag over that exact spot in the live video. It makes picking out the "safe water" markers on a hazy day significantly easier.
