Raymarine Augmented Reality Pack including CAM210 Bullet camera

Raymarine Augmented Reality Pack including CAM210 Bullet camera complete bundle brings Raymarine’s award-winning ClearCruise™ technology to your Axiom display, allowing you to navigate with more confidence and clarity than ever before.

As Essex's leading Raymarine specialist, we know that busy coastal waters—like those here in the Blackwater and Thames Estuary—require constant vigilance. This pack acts as a second set of eyes, overlaying critical navigation data directly onto a live, high-definition video feed of your surroundings. Whether you are navigating in hazy conditions, identifying AIS targets at night, or simply trying to pick out a distant buoy, this system makes the "invisible" visible.

Raymarine Augmented Reality Pack including CAM210 Bullet camera Key Features

  • ClearCruise™ Augmented Reality: Seamlessly overlays AIS-equipped vessel traffic, charted navigation aids, and your saved waypoints directly onto the video screen. No more glancing back and forth between your chart and the horizon—see exactly where that buoy or boat is in the real world.
  • CAM210 High-Definition Bullet Camera: A rugged, IP67-rated network camera that provides crystal-clear HD imagery. It features integrated IR (Infrared) LEDs for exceptional "day and night" performance, giving you up to 20 metres of visibility in total darkness.
  • AR200 Stabilisation Module: The "brain" of the system. This 9-axis AHRS (Attitude and Heading Reference System) and GPS sensor stabilises the camera’s video feed. It accounts for your boat’s pitch, roll, and heading to ensure that the AR overlays stay pinned to their real-world locations, even in choppy seas.
  • Intelligent Identification: AIS targets are colour-coded for instant risk assessment. You can instantly see a vessel’s status and name, making bridge-to-bridge communication and collision avoidance straightforward.
  • Visualise Your Waypoints: Never lose track of your destination or a fishing "hot spot." The system displays your saved waypoints as digital markers on the water, helping you steer the perfect course.
  • Rugged Marine Construction: Both the camera and the AR200 sensor are designed for the harsh marine environment, with waterproof ratings (IPX6 & IPX7) that shrug off heavy spray and rain.

Expert Advice from Morgan Marine
The Raymarine AR Pack is compatible with all Raymarine Axiom, Axiom Pro, and Axiom XL multifunction displays.

Raymarine Augmented Reality Pack including CAM210 Bullet camera FAQs

What does "Augmented Reality" actually do for me on the water?

In short, it overlays digital information directly onto a live video feed of the world around you. Instead of looking at a 2D chart and trying to match it to a buoy in the distance, you’ll see a label for that buoy floating right on top of it on your screen. It does the same for AIS-equipped vessels and your own saved waypoints, making navigation much more intuitive.

Will this work with my current Raymarine display?

The ClearCruise™ AR features are designed specifically for the Axiom® family of multifunction displays (MFDs). This includes Axiom, Axiom Pro, and Axiom XL. You will also need to ensure your display is running the LightHouse 3.7 operating system or newer (which is a free update if you're behind).

What is the role of the AR200 sensor?

This is a vital piece of the puzzle. Without the AR200, the graphics on your screen would jump around as the boat bounces on the waves. The AR200 provides 10Hz updates of position, heading, pitch, and roll, ensuring that the digital overlays stay "pinned" to the real-world objects, even in choppy seas.

Can I use the CAM210 camera at night?

Absolutely. The CAM210 is a high-definition "Day and Night" camera. It features built-in infrared LEDs that allow for excellent visibility in near-darkness (up to about 20 metres), making it perfect for monitoring blind spots or navigating into a dark marina.

How difficult is the installation?

If you already have a Raymarine SeaTalkng/NMEA 2000 network, it’s very straightforward. The camera can be powered directly via a 12V connection or through Power over Ethernet (PoE). The AR200 simply plugs into your backbone. If you're unsure, our engineering team here at Morgan Marine is always on hand to provide advice or a professional installation service.

Does it show AIS targets even if I don't have an AIS receiver?

No, the system "augments" the data it already has. To see AIS targets overlaid on the video, your boat must be equipped with an AIS receiver or transceiver that is networked to your Axiom display.

How does it help in a Man Overboard (MOB) situation?

This is a fantastic safety feature. If you trigger an MOB on your Axiom, the ClearCruise™ AR will place a clear blue visual marker on the camera feed at the coordinates of the incident. This helps the helm keep a visual "lock" on the location even if they lose sight of the person in the water.

Is the equipment waterproof?

Yes, both the CAM210 and the AR200 are built for the harsh marine environment, carrying IPX6 and IPX7 ratings. This means they are protected against heavy seas and can even withstand temporary immersion.
