Mercury F25 Outboard 25HP 4-Stroke Long Shaft Outboard Motor F25ELPT EFI are a 25 HP, 4-stroke, long shaft outboard motor that is lightweight, fuel-efficient, and features electronic fuel injection (EFI) and power trim. It is designed for reliable performance on a variety of small to medium-sized boats

Mercury F25 Outboard 25HP 4-Stroke Long Shaft Outboard Motor F25ELPT EFI Key Features

  • Engine Type: The F25ELPT EFI features a 25 horsepower, inline 3-cylinder, four-stroke engine with a single overhead cam (SOHC) design and a displacement of 526cc (or 500cc in newer models).
  • Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI): This technology provides consistent, reliable starting in all weather conditions, a crisp throttle response, and excellent fuel economy. Manual-start versions feature battery-free EFI.
  • Power Trim and Tilt: The "ELPT" designation indicates Electric start, Long shaft, Power Trim, and remote control. This feature allows for easy adjustment of the engine's running angle (trim) with the push of a button, which is beneficial for performance and lifting the engine in shallow water.
  • Shaft Length: It has a long shaft, which is 20 inches (508 mm), suitable for boats with a deep transom.
  • Weight: The engine is one of the lightest in its class, with the lightest model weighing approximately 60 kg (around 132 lbs).
  • Alternator: The electric start models are equipped with a powerful 17 amp (210 watt) alternator to keep onboard electronics and the battery charged.
  • Ease of Maintenance: It features a "no-spill" oil change system, easy-change gear lube, and a lifetime maintenance-free valve train, making service hassle-free.
  • Durability: The motor is built with saltwater-safe components, durable coatings, and a multi-step paint process to ensure advanced corrosion resistance.
  • SmartCraft Compatibility: The electric start models are compatible with Mercury's SmartCraft digital gauges and displays, which provide access to a wide range of engine data and connected technologies like Troll Control and Active Trim.
  • Control: The ELPT version is set up for remote steering control, and a control box is supplied with the motor.
