The Mercury F100 EFI outboard is available in several configurations to suit different boat types, transom heights, and performance requirements. While the core engine remains the same, the model suffix indicates the shaft length and gearcase setup.

F100 ELPT
The ELPT version is the standard configuration for many boats.

• Electric start for simple key ignition
• Long shaft (20” / 508 mm) to suit most modern transoms
• Power trim and tilt for easy adjustment of the engine angle

This is the most common option for RIBs, small cruisers, and sports boats where a standard long-shaft outboard is required.

F100 EXLPT
The EXLPT model shares the same features but is built with an extra-long shaft (25” / 635 mm). This version is typically used on boats with higher transoms, including some offshore hulls and larger centre consoles, ensuring the propeller sits at the correct depth for efficient performance.

F100 ELPT CT
The ELPT CT variant adds Mercury’s Command Thrust (CT) gearcase to the standard long-shaft configuration. Command Thrust models use a larger gearcase and larger propeller, which generate more low-end thrust and improved handling - particularly useful on heavier boats or when carrying full loads.

F100 EXLPT CT
The EXLPT CT combines the extra-long shaft with the Command Thrust gearcase. This setup is designed for boats that require both a deeper mounting height and additional low-speed pushing power, such as pontoons, deep-V hulls, or workboats.
