What is the "Wave Spring" jaw?

Can they be powered?
Yes, sizes 40 and above can be converted to electric or hydraulic operation at a later date.

Is installation difficult?
Users report they are easy to fit. They offer optional "Fast Fit" stud fixings for simpler mounting on some models.

What is the recommended mounting angle?
For optimal performance, the rope should enter the drum at an angle of 5° to 10° relative to the base. 

Do I need tools to service them?
No. The top cap can be unscrewed by hand, allowing the drum to be removed for easy access to the gears.

How often should I clean them?
You should wash the drum regularly with fresh water. Chrome and alloy winches should be dried with a cloth; never use abrasives on alloy drums.
