• What are the tubes made of?
  The tubes are made from Valmex PVC, a durable 1100 dtex coated fabric, known for its strong, welded seams.

• Is the hull aluminum or fiberglass?
  The hull is made of 2.5mm thick, high-tensile, chromated, and powder-coated marine-grade aluminium. This provides significant weight savings compared to equivalent fiberglass tenders and is resilient against chips when beaching.

• What is the difference between PVC and Hypalon tubes?
  Hypalon is generally considered to have better durability and resistance against UV rays and longevity compared to PVC. However, the Valmex PVC used on the Classic 340 features welded seams for durability. Hypalon is often available as an optional upgrade.

• Are the seams welded or glued? The PVC tubes feature welded seams. 

• How much does the boat weigh? The boat-only weight (dry weight) is approximately 71 kg (157 lbs).

• Does it have a self-draining deck? Yes, it features a non-slip, self-draining deck to keep your feet dry.

• What is the maximum load capacity? The maximum load capacity is 551 kg (1,215 lbs), which includes persons, motor, and fuel tank combined. 

• Does it come with a trailer?  No, a trailer is not included in the standard price, but we can usually supply a suitable road trailer or trolley as an extra cost option.

• Does it have a fuel tank locker? Yes, it has a bow locker designed to fit a 24L (6 gallon) fuel tank.

• Can I add a steering console? Yes, the FCT8 steering system console is available as an optional extra, which provides forward steering control.
