Garmin LiveScope Plus System With GLS 10 and LVS34 Transducer
Garmin LiveScope Plus System With GLS 10 and LVS34 Transducer, featuring the GLS 10 sonar black box and the state-of-the-art LVS34 transducer.
Whether you’re navigating the coast or hunting for fish in deeper waters, this system represents the absolute pinnacle of live-scanning sonar.
The Garmin LiveScope Plus System takes the world’s most popular live sonar and makes it even better. By pairing the GLS 10 sonar module with the newly designed LVS34 transducer, Garmin has achieved a level of clarity and target separation that was previously unimaginable.
For the serious angler, this means you aren’t just looking at blobs on a screen; you’re seeing individual fish, distinct structures, and your lure moving in real-time with incredible precision. The system is designed to reduce noise and sonar artefacts, giving you a crisp, "clean" image even in challenging conditions. Plus, with the included mounts, you can easily switch between three viewing modes to suit your environment—whether you’re looking ahead of the boat, directly beneath it, or getting a wide perspective for shallow water.
Garmin LiveScope Plus System With GLS 10 and LVS34 Transducer Key Features
- Superior Image Clarity: Experience 35% better target separation compared to previous systems. See individual fish and fine structure with stunning resolution.
- Real-Time Sonar: Watch your lure and the fish’s reaction to it as it happens. There is no lag—just live, high-definition action.
- Three Modes in One System:
-
- Forward Mode: Scout ahead of your boat to see what’s coming up in real-time.
- Down Mode: Get a detailed live view of exactly what is happening directly beneath your hull.
- Perspective Mode: Use the included mount for a top-down, wide-angle view—perfect for shallow water and finding fish-holding structure.
- Vivid Colour Palettes: Choose from seven high-contrast colour options (including Aqua, Caribbean, and Lava) to ensure you can see the screen clearly in any lighting conditions.
- Image Stabilisation: A built-in Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) keeps your sonar view steady, even when the water gets choppy.
- Plug-and-Play Integration: Seamlessly connects to your compatible Garmin ECHOMAP™ or GPSMAP® chartplotter via the Garmin Marine Network.

Garmin LiveScope Plus System With GLS 10 and LVS34 Transducer FAQs
What exactly is included in the LiveScope Plus System box?
When you purchase the full system from us, you’ll receive the GLS 10 sonar black box and the LVS34 transducer. We also include the essential mounting hardware: a trolling motor barrel mount, a shaft mount, and the Perspective Mode mount. You will also find a power cable, a 2-metre Garmin Marine Network cable (small connector), a network adapter cable, and full documentation to get you started.
How does the LiveScope Plus (LVS34) differ from the original LiveScope (LVS32)?
The "Plus" really does mean more. The LVS34 offers significantly improved resolution, reduced sonar noise, and better target separation. This means you can distinguish between individual fish and structure more clearly than ever before. It also features enhanced transducer sensitivity and sharper images, even in rougher conditions, thanks to the built-in image stabilisation.
What are the three viewing modes, and do I need extra mounts for them?
The system supports three distinct views to suit your fishing style:
Forward Mode: Shows what is ahead of your boat in real time.
Down Mode: Gives you a live view of what is directly beneath the hull.
Perspective Mode: Provides a wide, top-down view for shallow water.
The good news:
All the mounts required for these three modes—including the Perspective Mode mount—are included in the box at no extra cost.
What is the maximum range of the LiveScope Plus?
The system is incredibly powerful, providing real-time sonar images at a range of up to 61 metres (200 feet) in both Down and Forward modes. This allows you to spot bait and trophy fish well before you are right on top of them.
Which Garmin chartplotters are compatible with this system?
The LiveScope Plus System is designed for seamless integration with our range of compatible Garmin ECHOMAP™ and GPSMAP® units. If you are unsure if your current display is compatible, please get in touch with our team here at Morgan Marine, and we can verify your setup for you.
I already have the GLS 10 black box. Can I just buy the transducer?
Yes, you can. If you already have an existing LiveScope system with the GLS 10 sonar module, you can simply purchase the LVS34 transducer separately as an upgrade. It is a "plug-and-play" replacement that will immediately improve your on-screen clarity.
Is the system difficult to install?
The installation is relatively straightforward for those comfortable with marine electronics. The GLS 10 black box serves as the hub, connecting to your chartplotter via the Garmin Marine Network. However, if you would prefer a professional finish, our technicians at Morgan Marine offer expert installation services to ensure your transducer is angled perfectly for the best possible results.
How does the image stay steady in choppy water?
The LVS34 transducer features an AHRS (Attitude Heading Reference System). This built-in stabilisation keeps your sonar view steady on the screen, even when the boat is pitching or rolling in UK coastal waters or choppy lakes.
What are the power requirements?
The system operates on a power input of 10-32 V. It has a typical power usage of 21 W, though it can reach a maximum of 58 W. We recommend ensuring your battery setup is capable of supporting your electronics for a full day of fishing.
Can I use LiveScope Plus in saltwater?
Absolutely. While many anglers use it for freshwater predator fishing, it is a fantastic tool for saltwater applications. The IPX7 waterproof rating and robust build quality mean it is perfectly at home in the marine environment.
