What is the difference between the "Swing" and the standard Roller trailer?

The "Swing" refers to the adjustable swinging arm at the rear of the trailer. This allows the rear rollers to pivot and find the hull of your boat as you approach, making it significantly easier to self-centre your boat during recovery. It is especially useful if you often launch alone or in windy conditions.

What is the maximum weight capacity?

The trailer has a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 750kg. The trailer itself weighs approximately 170kg, leaving you with a generous carrying capacity (payload) of 580kg. This must include your boat, engine, fuel, and any gear stored on board while towing.

Is this trailer braked or unbraked?

The EXT 750 is an unbraked trailer. Under UK law, you can tow an unbraked trailer up to 750kg, provided it does not exceed 50% of your towing vehicle's kerb weight.

Will it rust in salt water?

Extreme trailers are built for the marine environment. The frame is hot-dipped galvanised to protect against corrosion. Additionally, this model comes standard with waterproof sealed bearings, which are essential for longevity if you are launching into the sea. We always recommend a quick fresh-water rinse after every immersion to keep it in top condition.

Are the rollers "non-marking"?

Yes. The EXT 750 Swing is fitted with 12 high-quality, non-marking wobble rollers and 2 heavy-duty keel rollers. Unlike cheaper black rubber rollers, these will not leave unsightly scuffs or marks on your gelcoat or RIB tubes.

Is the trailer adjustable for different hull shapes?

Absolutely. Almost everything on this trailer is adjustable, including the winch post, the height of the rollers, and the position of the axle. This ensures we can achieve the perfect balance and support for your specific boat.

Does it come with a lighting board?

Yes, every Extreme trailer purchased from Morgan Marine comes with a lighting board on extendable galvanised bars as standard. You won’t need to worry about purchasing this separately to be road-legal.

What else is included in the price?

When you buy from our shop, you receive a complete ready-to-tow package:

• • Heavy-duty winch (1000lb - 1400lb depending on current spec).
  • 42mm telescopic jockey wheel with cast clamp.
  • Certificate of Conformity (Required for legal use in the UK and Europe).

Can I have it delivered, or do I need to collect?

We offer nationwide UK delivery directly from our Essex base. Alternatively, you can select 'Local Pickup' at checkout to collect from us here in Brightlingsea. If you choose to collect, our engineers can often help you adjust the trailer to fit your boat perfectly on the day.

What is the lead time for an Extreme trailer?

We aim to keep the EXT 750 Swing in stock due to high demand. If it is in stock, delivery usually takes 3-5 working days. If we are awaiting a shipment from the manufacturer, we will contact you immediately with an estimated timeframe.
