Extreme EXT 1400 Super Roller Trailer FAQs

    • How should I set up the rollers for my boat? All rollers should be adjusted so they are touching the hull, with the inner wobble rollers close to the keel and outer rollers along the strakes. The boat's weight should primarily rest on the keel rollers.
    • How do I achieve correct tongue weight? Tongue weight should be about 7-10% of the total trailer weight to prevent swaying while towing. To adjust, you can slide the boat or the axles forward or backward as needed (move the boat forward/axles backward to increase tongue weight; move the boat backward/axles forward to decrease it).
    • What maintenance is required? The trailer uses waterproof sealed bearings, which simplifies maintenance; however, regular checks of components like the winch, rollers, and frame for any signs of wear or damage are recommended. Ensuring all parts are adjusted correctly for your specific boat is also crucial for safe operation.
