Dexshell Waterproof Socks Trekking FAQs

Why do I need waterproof socks if I already have waterproof boots?
Boots can be heavy and slow to dry. Once water gets in from the top, your feet stay wet. Waterproof socks offer a lighter, more flexible solution for stream crossings or mixed-weather days.

Are waterproof socks fully rain-proof?
Not entirely. They repel rain and mud, but extended exposure can allow water to enter from the top. Use with gaiters or waterproof trousers for maximum coverage.

How breathable are they?
Dexshell waterproof socks use a British-made Porelle membrane with 70% breathability, letting sweat escape while keeping water out.

Why is it better to choose a size up?
The laminated waterproof construction has less stretch than ordinary socks. Size up if you have wide feet or are between sizes for a better fit.

How should I wash them?
Machine wash cold with mild detergent and air-dry inside out. Avoid direct heat or high tumble settings to protect the membrane.
